Steps to Run a Campaign
SET A GOAL
Determine how much money you want to raise and what month you will campaign. We recommend running a 1 month (30 day) campaign.
- 10 people asking 20 people for $20 = $4,000
- 20 people asking for 20 people for $20 = $8,000
- 10 people asking 30 people for $30 = $9,000
- 20 people asking 30 people for $30 = $18,000
- 30 people asking 30 people for $30 = $27,000
BUILD & EQUIP YOUR TEAM
Make a list of people you want to invite to join your team. Then reach out to them, explain the campaign (the purpose, concept, and goal), and invite them to participate. Provide those that agree with a giving sheet (download here) and a date for submitting the money and names they collect.
RUN YOUR CAMPAIGN
During the campaign, stay in communication with your team. Provide updates and stories of encouragement as things progress. Also, continue to give them ideas on how to ask - letters, emails, social media, face-to-face, etc.
COLLECT & SUBMIT NAMES & MONEY
Have your team send all the money and giving sheets to you by a certain date (we recommend 7 days after the campaign ends). Once you've collated all the information, please send the money and a copy of the giving sheets to: Shadow of His Wings, Inc, Attn: Paul Drown, 13615 W. 129th Street, Olathe, KS 666062.
Also, please email a copy of the giving sheet information (name, address, email, and amount given to email@example.com.
